Life can be as tough as it is beautiful. Host Nick Hussey, founder of FRAHM Jacket was depressed and suicidal in 2017. After his recovery he created FRAHM to make exceptional jackets, but also to talk openly about mental health and how life isn't always awesome, but the little things can be.
Nick talks to kind, intelligent, diverse, inspiring people about how their real lives really are. Sometimes it's deadly serious, sometimes silly. It's a good chinwag.
It's important to talk openly. FRAHM supports CALM or Campaign Against Living Miserably, the mental health and suicide prevention charity. We know that talking saves lives. So we inspire you to talk about your stuff, good or bad.

#14 - David Flatman AKA Flats. Rugby commentator, dad, motorcyclist.

#14 - David Flatman AKA Flats. Rugby commentator, dad, motorcyclist.

David Flatman, AKA Flats is an ex England, Saracens & Bath rugby player who is now a high profile commentator. He's also one of the most disarmingly humble, funny, saucy, blokey, yet incredibly kind and sweet people you could meet. We love this combination. He is indeed Tough & Beautiful.
In this edition, Flats talks amusingly & inspirationally about his dark moments, motorcycling, The Most Amicable Divorce Ever and his beloved disabled brother.
Whether you're into rugby or not (I haven't a clue) he's a really entertaining, engaging human being. He's also much much bigger than me and he made me say this.
    Enjoy, Nick.

#13 - Shaun Keaveny, comedian, broadcaster, Northerner, husband, dad.

Shaun Keaveny is one of the most popular broadcasters in the UK, developing a huge fanbase on BBC 6Music for 14 years, before leaving last year. He's also presented the BBC's Glastonbury Festival coverage and now does loads of podcasts, including "The line-Up", "Your Place or Mine" and "Shaun's Creative Cul-de-Sac". He is funny, sweet, kind, silly, serious, irreverent and fairly sure he has ADHD.
In this hugely entertaining and humane edition, Shaun & Nick discuss life's trials and tribulations openly, particularly the advantages & disadvantages of finding out late in life that you have ADHD. Shaun talks about post-divorce grimness, struggling to adapt post-BBC, and the importance of getting time alone....if only you could get around to it.

#12 - Mark Herbert, producer of This Is England. Co-CEO of Warp Films

Mark Herbert has created many of the landmark British movies and TV shows of the last 20 years. Long time collaborator with This is England and The Virtues director Shane Meadows and leading lights like Chris Morris, he's a genuine hero of mine.As co-CEO of legendary independent film makers Warp Films, father to 3 kids, 2 of which are adopted, 1 of which is disabled; he describes his life and mental health struggles in total matter of factness - yet it's all fascinating and inspiring. This podcast with Mark is just about as FRAHM as it gets, and is a great listen. Thank you so much Mark. This confirms, yet again, that life is indeed beautiful, fascinating and tough - and that there are kind, fragile, strong and ambitious men we can look up to.

What's next?Enjoy and please do always ASK ANYTHING. Nick is the guy who answers Live Chat, Instagram comments, Email, Twitter and comments here. No BS answers. https://frahmjacket.com/

#10 - Nick Johannessen AKA Well Dressed Dad - Influential men's style blogger, engineer, dad

If you want to learn about menswear design, know the inside of the clothing industry, what's best in menswear and how it's made, listen in to a special podcast. If you're into menswear and men's style, then chances are you'll have come across 'Well Dressed Dad' Nick, or certainly his influence. He's not a fashion man; rather that sort of unpretentious, rugged, classic men's style expert.http://welldresseddad.com/Nick is the real deal. His knowledge and passion is huge. He doesn't promote for cash, so he's independent. He doesn't hold back with his enthusiasm or criticism. He's also a really nice and a darkly dry humoured bloke. For all these reasons and more we're very honoured, first that Nick likes our gear, then especially because he agreed to meet our Nick and do his first ever podcast with us. Enjoy.
