Always great, very funny and original.

I’ve listened to just about every episode in the last few years, always very funny. Also, it’s an ideal download to listen to for half an hour of an airplane trip...,

Used to love The News Quiz

But the new host, and his script writers, are just not funny. Also really miss the news reader and the clippings. It’s turned from something unique to just another game show. It’s become very brexity also. It was always a very British show but has become insular in its current iteration.

Has become too politically correct for my liking over last year

I used to love this podcast and eagerly looked forward to it every week. However, over the last 6 to 10 months or so, it has nosedived and I find myself increasingly wincing and switching it off. I am of Indian origin myself but the whole diversity thing has really gone overboard and I don’t find the jokes funny at all. Instead we are getting virtue signalling and ‘woke rants’ which I am desperate to get away from. I used to give the BBC the benefit of the doubt and disregarded the leftist / woke labels that others to talk about. Now I see they have a point. I don’t see the point of a comedy program if it isn’t funny. If you want to be woke, why not start up a different podcast and stay away from this one? If you think it might offend people, just mention it at the start, those who might be offended will stay away but I can continue enjoying it.
