My Favourite Podcast

If all interviewers were as good at their job as David Barr Kirtley we'd all know far more about everything! Never have I heard a better researched presenter with genuine interest in his guests. He is not in love with the sound of his own voice, he listens and lets the guest speak. When he does speak it is to ask an interesting and informed question.
My favourite interviews have been ones that have delved into the craft of writing but I have yet to be dissappointed by any episode.
The only drawback to listening to The Geeks Guide is the sheer volume of books and samples of books I have downloaded to my Kindle as a result of great recommendations from the show! I may not get to read them all but the ones that I have read were excellent.
The show is so good I have opted to pay $1 per episode through Patreon as I would hate to see it come to an end. Keep up the good work guys!

I always look forward to this Podcast!

Essential for anyone who enjoys reading sci fi.

Great show

I'm a huge sci fi fan who happens to have worked in radio and TV for over 10 years. I think that as well as creating a show that has helped me discover amazing new authors, David has the ability to know when to keep quiet and let his guest do the talking. Often presenters want to impress their listeners with their own knowledge, David obviously has that but he doesn't show off. A+
