45 - Guest Episode - Vulnerability, self-acceptance and forgiveness - with Marie Byrne

45 - Guest Episode - Vulnerability, self-acceptance and forgiveness - with Marie Byrne

Marie Byrne is one of the strongest people I know. It takes guts to leave a corporate job in the city and move to a farmhouse in the middle of the country and set up a holistic centre. Marie has done this, and so much more. We talk about her journey to creating Glosna House, and from there go deep into the process of self-care, how to listen to ourselves at that deeper level, and how to be with the disappointment and grief from the past (more than) two years. We are all works in progress, the more we accept all of the parts of ourselves, the better we can accept and understand others. I truly hope you find something in our conversation that touches you.
About Marie: Marie is a qualified Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapist & also is the Glosna House Founder. She is a fully accredited member of The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapists. Marie creates & facilitates weekly support groups, meditation classes & workshops encouraging personal growth, self acceptance and letting go.
Before qualifying as a psychotherapist, Marie spent a large proportion of her career within the communication industry, in sales management and training positions. She worked for AIB, 2020 Logistics, Vodafone, Irish Broadband & The Sitel Corporation to name a few.
Marie works in an integrative, humanistic and trans-personal way with clients, honouring all parts of the person, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. She incorporates creative expression into her work and believes that each person has the ability to heal themselves and that self acceptance is key to bringing about positive change.

44 - Guest Episode - Finding joy on the other side of pain - with Catherine Maguire

44 - Guest Episode - Finding joy on the other side of pain - with Catherine Maguire

Human beings thrive on stories, the story of who we are, and the story of where we came from. If we tell ourselves the story of our pain, then we stay in pain. It’s time to learn how to transform our stories, so that we can create something new and beautiful for the world. Catherine Maguire, Shaman and Soul Healer talks to me in this episode of healing for healers. She shares stories from her life as a farmer, to working in international television, to living the simple life. Truth, integrity and honesty is the key to healing, and Catherine's authenticity shines through in this amazing chat that we had. I really hope you enjoy this conversation, I know I did!
About Catherine: Catherine was born and raised on a farm in Ireland which instilled in her a love of nature and a deep connection to the the earth and the cycles of life.
Her own healing journey involved a deep dive into shamanism, tantra, and the embodiment of the sacred feminine.  These interweaving paths took her home to her authentic self and helped her to balance her inner feminine and inner masculine energies.
Catherine is passionate about helping women reconnect to their creative sparkle (their essence) so that they can be the embodiment of their most authentic self.
She has worked with groups and individuals all around the world in places such as Ireland, the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Finland, Germany, Russia, Australia, North America, Hawaii, Honduras, Argentina and Ghana.
Catherine creates a safe, non-judgemental space for exploration and healing as well as bringing her wisdom, playfulness and sense of humour to the unfolding adventure that is life.
Originally from Ireland, Catherine now lives in southern Italy, where you will most likely find her hiking early in the mornings in the mountains with her dogs.

43 - Energy Healing Made Easy - Chapter 2 - an offering from Abby

43 - Energy Healing Made Easy - Chapter 2 - an offering from Abby

Hay House has kindly enabled me to put the entire chapter 2 from my book, Energy Healing Made Easy as an episode on my podcast! There's nothing easy about energy healing, not the way I teach it 😂 however I do my best to explain it clearly, and get you started on your own energy healing practice, just by reading this book.
This chapter is about intention, permission, congruence, receiving, and how to look after yourself during your healing process. If you'd like to listen to the rest of the book, you can find it here: https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/Energy-Healing-Made-Easy-Audiobook/B09GXBRKS3 It is also on Audible.com

42 - What does it mean when we say 'The Veils are Thin'?

42 - What does it mean when we say 'The Veils are Thin'?

They say a shaman walks between two worlds, but both Abby and Regina agree there may be many more. The veils between the worlds separate them from each other, and can be thick and difficult to break-through, but no longer. Join us for a fireside chat and a cuppa where we talk about our personal experiences of breaking through the veils and finding out what is on the other side. We also talk about when beings break through from the other side and step into our world. Life can be magical and exciting, if you let go of your fear. Yes, we talk about fear, too. We both hope you enjoy this conversation, and if you are inspired and want to take Abby’s Shamanic Journey Intensive Class, you can sign up for it here: https://abbysonlineacademy.com/product/shamanic-journey-intensive-class/

41 - Guest Episode - Social Media for Healers - with Katie Brockhurst

Meet Katie Brockhurst,  award-winning podcaster, author and experienced social media consultant, with over twenty years’ experience. Katie works with spiritual authors, healers and businesses to help them manage their online presence successfully, in a way that feels good. Feeling good is key! At the end of our chat together Katie read out a poem that she wrote from her new book. It summed up our conversation perfectly so I wanted to share it here, to give you a flavour of what we discussed. I hope you enjoy the chat we had, and that it inspires you to look at how you're using social media, and perhaps change a few things so that you feel good using it too.

    Sovereign Cyberspace Freeway

    Our social media ego,
    Is in a virtual-reality game-show,
That we tap into and play every day.

So every time you feel sad,
    A bit frustrated or mad,
    Remember it’s designed this way.

    Produced by AI,
    The ultimate spy,
Who captures your thoughts night and day.

    Living somewhat like Truman,
Is what it’s become to be human,
But it doesn’t have to be this way.

    Connect to your soul,
    Beam light to the whole,
Send love to each other and pray.

When we do this en masse,
    We create a quantum bypass,
    The Sovereign Cyberspace Freeway.

40 - Energy Check-in - Ways to look after yourself in chaotic energies.

I don't know what happened to my microphone but the sound in this episode for me is not ideal, so I apologise at the outset. I tried to fix it, hopefully it will just sound like I'm on the phone miles and miles away, instead of right here, with you, wherever you are. The good news is I have bought a new microphone for the next podcast episode!
Join me and Regina for a cuppa and a chat as we check in as to how we are doing with the current energies. We share ideas including different ways to ground, centre and stay afloat in times of high frequency light. As always, we have different ideas to share, from different perspectives, and we disclose some of our personal stories for your amusement!! We both hope this episode validates how you're feeling, normalises what is going on, and inspires you to feel able to try some of these tips and tools we share, for yourselves. I reckon the info here must be important if there are technical issues! So bear with it if you can, grab yourself a cuppa and laugh along with us. Much love to you xox

Buíochas

A wonderfully timely episode , the banter, laughter and empathic support translates so clearly between the two of you and onwards to the audience. I feel a great sense of calmness and acceptance into the current situation in Ireland right now after listening, Buíochas. I love this time of year, as I sink into the comforting dark earth, into my own personal vernalisation 😊 💕abbey and Regina 🌟
