Relevant to EVERYONE
I knew of this podcast for a while, but figured it wouldn't be for me as bingeing isn't really my thing and I 'don't have body issues'. Ha ha ha. Jess lured me in with her light comedy and likeable rapport and over time I started realising how these issues with food and eating are deeply ingrained in all of us. It is like a therapy session, reminding me the values I ought to uphold, and that this diet and fitness culture is not all there is. It helps me recognise the harmful behaviour of others around me and helps me empathise with their internal struggles. Aside from all the serious stuff, it's just a very entertaining listen, I love learning about new recipes and cuisines. I wish there was a bigger emphasis on different European/world cuisines as some of the British eating habits are quite appalling. Also, don't listen to this when hungry. Love this and can't wait for more, thanks Jess!
Food for thought
In today's diet obsessed culture it is great to come across a food centred podcast that celebrates food and eating in a healthy way. Jessica's hilarious and insightful journey into the foods that we eat and the reasons that we eat them will leave you hungry for more.
