HOW TO GAEL is your brand new bilingual podcast. A new generation of Irish speakers, Doireann, Louise and Síomha are living, working, socialising and reviving an Ghaeilge in a way that is súimiúil, spraoiúil agus just good craic. You will not learn the modh coinníollach on this pod - forget gramadach agus obair bhaile. This is giving bilingual bottomless brunch, car chats with your cairde, an stuff atá i do ghrúpa whatsapp.
Besides being friends, TV presenters (TG4) and women in their n/early 30s, Doireann Ní Ghlacáin, Louise Cantillon and Síomha Ní Ruairc have another thing in common - they live their lives bilingually and as Gaeilge.
From dealing with criticism online to asking for a raise or calling on our ancestral wisdom, the cailíní will draw from their own personal experiences with a fun "how-to". They’ll navigate the problems most women have at this point in their lives. Come along on their weekly catch ups where current affairs, popular culture and just general gossip will also bí á bplé. A bilingual format, How to Gael is your answer to bringing more Irish into your life, no matter your level.

Tá na cailíní crosta! San eagrán seo we reveal who had beef with who in the How To Gael group whatsapp, why clamping is honestly the worst, na blow dries is measa you ever did see and why passive aggression is the best way to let your anger out.
Also nóta beag that this ep was filmed the very chaotic morning after our live show, hence the endless giggles.

Sound is not sound

I’ve a grá for the cúpla focal, but have to agree with a previous reviewer, the sound is woeful, the ads aren’t warned so blast the ears off me and I need full volume to hear the girls.

Such a fun podcast

I’m enjoying this podcast so much! I’ve been trying to improve my Irish for ages and this is such a fun way to get a couple more words into the vocabulary and take some of the fear out of speaking it! The chemistry between the hosts is great and the chats are really relaxed and fun!
