Inaguration Day White Men Disagree About Sports

Hello and welcome to the inaugural episode of “White Men Disagree About Sports”, a podcast where a few friends get together and have hypothetical, nonsensical discussions about future and past events in the sports world that has almost no real world bearing. Before we begin, I want to address our title. We welcome all seven plus billion human beings into our discussion space. Our title is not meant to exclude or offend anyone, nor suggest these conversations belong simply in primarily white patriarchal space. The purpose of our title is mostly that of self-deprecation as our friend group acknowledges our alignment with the stereotype of the white male that believe they are an authority on sports (which we’re not), or that sporting outcomes have some sort of real life relevance or impact on our lives (which they don’t).
