Sharing research on Organisational Psychology, Personality Psychology, Collaboration and Performance of Organisational Teams

Implications of Team Size for Organisational Teams

Implications of Team Size for Organisational Teams

In this podcast I’d like to talk about the implications of team size on social interactions and coordination within, and between, organisational teams.

The problem for teams is that the relationship between team size and interaction volume is exponential.

This relationship is defined by Bossard’s Law of Interaction, and its described by a simple formula.

Where N is the number of people in the team...

    interaction volume = N(N-1) / 2.

The podcast explains this relationship but if you'd also like to see it in pictures you can visit the podcast on my website

Thanks for visiting. Do let me know if you have any questions, or comments.
