My name is Kevin Boyle and I have a podcast. This was the most accurate title for a show that I could think of!

This podcast started 2 years ago and was originally called 'The Yoga Life'. I decided to change the name as most of the conversations I have with guests are about life more so than yoga.

My goal with the podcast is to share open, unscripted and uncensored conversations that can help us to understand each other better... and hopefully have a laugh along the way.

The Yoga Life Podcast is now, simply, Kevin Boyle Podcast.

New podcast name: Kevin Boyle Podcast. Previously: The Yoga Life Podcast Podcast. Everything else stays the same. Yoga is still my passion, but this gives me a bit more freedom to talk to folks outside of yoga: in art, science, tech, philosophy, psychology.
All conversations will be available on all podcast apps, while the video versions of said convos and everything else will be on my YouTube channel. Links are below.

#124: Rachael Kinlan - The Harsh Reality Of Postpartum.

It's been 10 weeks since we became parents. Social media often only shows the happy moments. In this in-depth talk, we discuss the challenges of becoming parents for the first time, the painful moments of postpartum and what we've learnt in the process.
We hope this conversation can help those that may find themselves in the same boat.

    #123: Babies, Phones & Fertility.

    Becoming a parent changes you.
    Using your phone changes you.
How could these two be connected?
    I have some thoughts.

    No guests allowed... for now.

    No guests allowed... for now.

The Irish government have just announced new restrictions: No visits to households are allowed, except on compassionate grounds such as care or childcare. Turns out shooting the breeze on a podcast falls into neither of the brackets. Damn.
I started this podcast to have weekly chats with interesting people in real life, not on Zoom.

I may continue to do solo episodes but since I'm not particularly interesting, it may be best to wait until I can have real life guests again.

    Leon Pinto-Turner - Sober Babe.

    Leon Pinto-Turner - Sober Babe.

I've known Leon since the beginning of my yoga teaching career. Like most adult men who are strangers in social situations, we started off exchanging nods and monosyllabic greetings for a while but now I'm lucky enough to call him a friend.
Leon has just celebrated a year of sobriety. Like a lot people suffering from alcohol addiction, Leon started out drinking for fun. He was destined for pop stardom and boozy nights out came with the territory.
When his career in pop failed to materialize as he hoped, Leon turned to alcohol to seek comfort. This trauma was reinforced by the awful bullying he suffered as a child in school.
Leon was brave enough to attend my first ever retreat sober and he hasn't looked back since.

There are certain people that come into your life and just make it brighter. Leon is one of those bright souls. A star is reborn and I'm delighted to share his story with you.

    Enjoy!

Lovin’ it

Great podcast - easy listening, light hearted, authentic, humorous and educational! I’ve been thinking of doing my yoga teacher training for a while now and finding Kev’s podcast was the best thing that could of happened. Listening to Kev and his guests experiences has given me the confidence to dive right in.
