    Psalms 91 (A COVID Discussion)

    Psalms 91 (A COVID Discussion)

There is so much craziness going around the world, isn't there? Even since my last podcast a few months ago, there has been so much that has went on. This has been something that has effected me mentally, spiritually, and physically, as I am sure it has many of you as well. But there is something that I felt led to, a chapter in the book of Psalms. This is something that I was never able to understand, as I was drawn to this years ago when I was younger and in high school. These were promises that God had been showing me for years, drawing me back, pruning me for this certain season. Church, we have to find our confidence in Jesus and understand that His ways are not our own. We have to be obedient to Him and follow Him, not our peers around us. We have to be the light that shines on the hill. For the world is heading for a blackout, and where is the light? The darker it gets, we need to shine brighter. Our only hope, our only refuge, is Jesus. We can find comfort in knowing Him. Forgive me for my rambling, everything just came at once. Hope you guys enjoy and look forward for new posts!

The Struggle of Stepping Into Your Calling

The Struggle of Stepping Into Your Calling

How does one step into their calling?

Where to we begin, where does it all start?

These are questions that a lot of Christians and people are facing in their daily lives. It is both exciting and scary at the same time. One thing that I have found is that my day to day walk with the Lord is a very good place to start- our day to day life is the greatest ministry we will ever have. So I hope that this encourages and inspires you! Thanks for listening and welcome to Man After God Podcasts.

Joy of The Lord Through Fear

Joy of The Lord Through Fear

This Easter has been a very much different one from past Easters we remember. This year has been a faith tester over the coronavirus, as we are struggling to find a cure for this specific sickness. With churches being shut down, there seems to be no light. However, we are still the light of this world. We can still stand with our hands rised. We still can choose joy, even in the mist of fear. We can still find comfort in knowing our hope alone will not disappoint, that Jesus is not done yet. We are still the Chruch, and no one can steal this joy we cling to.

COVID-19: Christ Over Viruses And Infectious Diseases

COVID-19: Christ Over Viruses And Infectious Diseases

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last couple of weeks, you probably have heard about COVID-19. You also have probably gone through the roller coaster of emotions that it has brought since its arrival, from overreacting to feeling like you are not taking it seriously enough. There is fear, rightfully so. It is on a rampage and seems to not even hit its peak yet. But, as Christ followers, we still have a ledge.

While our church buildings have been closed and our physical bodies remain under quarantine, there is something so much bigger to remember: we are not defined by our confinement. Just because our church buildings are under wraps, doesn't mean The Church has to as well. The place where we gather to worship and communion doesn't have to be the only place where our light shines the most. While the buildings are closed and we are confined, our souls are not. Our heart has been set free because of The Blood of Christ and we can fully embrace that.

We can fully seek out what God has for us, and we can use the tools He has gave us to spread His Love even more. Our hearts are fully filled with His grace, and we can replicate that with our actions and love towards people. We have the right tools; we have the right heart with Him inside of us. Now more than ever does the world need us.

Now more than ever is the world thirsty for what God can only quench. We can help spread the mercy of God faster than the COVID-19 by not only our words but also actions. We can begin to light the fuel with our fire. We have what it takes, we have the strength. With our trust in Him, God is going to do big things. With the realization of our souls not being confined by fear, we can make all the difference in the world. We are still the game changers; we are still God's most prized possession.

We have this hope, and we will never let that go.

    Introduction

    Introduction

With everything, I am a better writer than I am a speaker. Nevertheless, God has nudged my heart to focus deeper upon podcasting and finding new ways to spread His Glory. I had been putting this off of almost a year now, as I feel like I struggle with speaking in general. But God has opened the door for a new opportuinty and I cannot sit back and allow myself to not let myself seek out God and His glory. I hope to find new connections with people and learn as I grow into the man that I want to be. We are all in this together, as brothers and sisters, in this spiritual warfare we are fighting. I hope to encourage many of you as you all encourage me. Let us begin to bring the light, let us show the darkness who God is. We have victory.
