THE EFFECTS OF SOCIETAL PRESSURE ON MEN (Part 3)

THE EFFECTS OF SOCIETAL PRESSURE ON MEN (Part 3)

Historically, men where thought to be tough, right from childhood notwithstanding when they are weak, pressurized and down. Some were trained to suppress their emotions, don't express their emotions at all, act tall and hide their weaknesses in order to look good even when they are not.

Infact, some men felt that admitting to emotional problems was a sign of weakness. They prefer to bottle up their feelings and just go on with life instead of expressing themselves or seeking help when needed. Today, the unyielding notion of what makes a real man is putting a strain on men; you've got to have a house, nice car, wife, kids, good job etc. but many think these expectations are difficult to live up to and are far from real life experience.
