    The Self-Care Issue | Episode 10 | Prioritising Habits of Self-Care

    The Self-Care Issue | Episode 10 | Prioritising Habits of Self-Care

The hustle and bustle of this year has been REAL and I’m already feeling the effects. That’s why I really wanted us to focus on self-care this month because when we’re on the move, I think we sometimes forget to really take care of ourselves because we’re so busy, often, due to responsibilities towards everything else but ourselves.

In this episode, I chat to Miss Dhanusha about prioritising habits of self-care and touch on the importance of self-care, how to establish habits to help you take better care of your well-being and whether self-care can be selfish. Dhanusha is a content creator, entrepreneur and self-coach who helps millennial women prioritise holistic self-care so that they can show up as their best self and avoid burnout. This was definitely a much-needed conversation and I hope you’ll find it useful as well as you establish or maintain your own relationship with self-care.

    The Self-Acceptance Issue | Episode 9 | Embracing Self-Acceptance

    The Self-Acceptance Issue | Episode 9 | Embracing Self-Acceptance

It’s the month of love and on Me, Myself & I, when February comes around, we usually focus on prioritising loving yourself better and this year we’re actually looking at loving yourself better through self-acceptance.

So according to an article on the Harvard Health Publishing website, self-acceptance is defined as “an individual’s acceptance of all of his or her attributes, positive or negative” and this is a very important discussion to have because sometimes you can definitely love yourself but whether you love yourself, flaws and all is the real question.

You see, it’s easy to love yourself based on all the positive things you like about yourself but loving yourself with your mistakes, flaws and weaknesses can be a little harder to do because these things are a little harder to accept.

On this episode, we’ll chat more about it with Rox Marthinussen, a women’s lifestyle coach and founder of The Staple Life and she helps women take back ownership of their lives so that they can essentially show up as their best in all areas of their lives

I’m super excited to share this conversation with you because she touches on so many amazing nuggets that have not only been spoken about on previous episodes but nuggets that can really help all of us on our own journey of self-acceptance

The Rest Issue | Episode 8 | To The Woman Who's Tired

The Rest Issue | Episode 8 | To The Woman Who's Tired

Women are naturally born nurturers. They’re often taking care of everything and everyone around them, even to their detriment, and sadly, this is passed down through generations, over time – not always intentionally - but somehow this perception that a woman needs to take care of everyone and everything is just a given.

Even though things are vastly different now, with women often juggling work and home life, sometimes they’re still expected to fulfil the exact same role that women fulfilled years ago, leaving even less room to take care of themselves. This leaves them feeling incredibly overwhelmed and exhausted.

In this episode, I’ll be speaking to the woman who’s tired and feeling guilty for not being able to juggle it all. Who’s feeling guilty for needing and yearning for rest.

The Rest Issue | Episode 7 | Work Less, Rest More & Enjoy Life

The Rest Issue | Episode 7 | Work Less, Rest More & Enjoy Life

We’re halfway through the year and if you work in an industry that’s constantly on the go, it’s probably BEEN a year. If I had to ask you how you’re feeling, you’d probably something along the lines of:

    "I’m tired"

    "I’m over it"

    "I’m done"

But while you may be feeling quite negative towards your work life right now, are you actually taking the time to rest? To take things a little more slower in your daily work routine? Or are you constantly pushing yourself to the point where your body will eventually force you to rest?

In this episode, I’ll be speaking about how you can embrace not pushing yourself to your limits and intentionally incorporate a better paced work life to help you feel more rested.

The Becoming Issue | Episode 6 | How You're Sabotaging Your Growth

The Becoming Issue | Episode 6 | How You're Sabotaging Your Growth

"When you know, you do better," is a famous quote by Maya Angelou. It’s a quote that has become really relevant in my own life because I’ve intentionally made the decision to do better now that I know better. But reaching this point where you can intentionally and, at times, instinctively, just do better based on past experiences is a process and, sometimes, we actually don’t do better even if we know better. In this episode, I’ll be breaking down 7 reasons, in my view, why that might be the case and how that's actually sabotaging your growth.

The Becoming Issue | Episode 5 | Stagnantly Becoming - Embracing Seasons of Waiting

The Becoming Issue | Episode 5 | Stagnantly Becoming - Embracing Seasons of Waiting

Seasons of becoming immediately spring to mind - for me at least - an abundance of flourishing, doors opening and a multitude of blessings. And when this isn’t happening, you begin to feel stuck. You feel like your life isn’t going anywhere and, if we’re honest, we begin to wonder why are doors opening for other people but not really for ourselves? But what if your season of waiting is actually you stagnantly becoming?

In this episode, I chat about how it's possible to be in a process of becoming even in a season of waiting, a season when it usually seems like nothing's really happening in your life.
