Nedgine PAUL DEROLY is the co founder of Anseye pou Haiti, an organization working tirelessly to improve Haiti's education system. Currently in Haiti, only 50% of kids attend school and less 1% of students finish high school. In this video, we discuss how many of Haiti's problems can be traced back to its weak education system and how this system, established by colonial powers needs to be revamped. In addition, Nedgine explained how the trauma of slavery still affects many Haitians to this day.
