The restoration of earth was a painstaking but rewarding process. Dara and Kairn managed to make time for each other nearly every day. After her shift in the ICU Kairn would find her serving as both her guard and guide whenever his manly duties as Ambassador and Captain would allow. Their exploration of the earth reveals more than either was aware existed between them, but certainly, they both knew it was just the beginning and ver special.

Kairn's Point Of View
Kairn slowly opened his eyes. He struggled to recall the fading details of his dream. It had been like this every night for the last forehand. The dreams, more like visions, had started out like snapshots of her life. She had been young and adorably awkward in the first one, still in glasses. Later ones showed her hard at work, relaxing at home, at play, eyes bright with laughter. Every dream crackled with her bright energy, it was the same female each time, his female. The last hand of nights was different, the tone was darker and violent.
