Bloody love it!

My name is Emer, so you can just imagine my delight when Jason started to recount the stories of Cú Chulainn and his wonderful wife Emer! I absolutely love how Jason tell the stories, somehow making them more interesting and lively than they were in the first place, and his Odysseus episodes have saved me in the nights before Classics exams!

Best storytelling you could ask for!

I’ve grown up in love with my native myths and legends from Ireland and while searching for stories of them on Spotify I stumbled across Myths & Legends. I have to admit I was immediately hooked and excited when I saw Irish myths let alone Norse, Greek and everything else. Jason’s voice is captivating and energetic so it always feels like you’re right there in the story itself. It’s so easy to visualize the wonderful places he’s describing and he modernizes the characters so they’re more relatable to us. I listen nearly every night and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I’d love if he’d delve into more Irish myths and legends in the future like Diarmuid & Gráinne or The Children of Lír. Thank you for your amazing work!
