In this episode I give an introduction to who I am, my personal finance background, the start of omgmymoney.com, sharing the money moron financial moments I experienced including accumulating $77,000 in student loan debt, not paying my debt back for years to have the loan go into default, not contributing to any retirement accounts despite a generous company matching policy, how podcasting saved my financial life, and eventually crawling my way back out of the debt hole and becoming debt free in February 2019. I hope this provides some inspiration to those who feel helpless.

In this episode I give an introduction to the OMG My Money Podcast. The topics I’ll focus on will cover my passions in personal finance, side hustling, and sports cards, but I’d like to also cover my other passions in leadership, business management, real estate, and marketing. I don’t plan to cover any sports cards new releases or review any products. I think there are plenty of great podcasts that do a great job of covering these.
I’m open to interviewing both subject matter experts and everyday people who love the sports cards industry trying to make a name for themselves.
