Shifting Job Titles and Building Your Skills Outside of 9-5 w/ Chantelle Gonzalez, Senior Content Manager at Electronic Arts
After college, Chantelle got her first job at a tech start-up in the Valley as a marketing manager. Since then she has also been actively building her resume within the sports industry doing media relations and marketing for several major league teams. Most recently, she is a web producer and content manager for a gaming company located in Redwood City.
As a digital content manager, she works in various content management systems to configure and publish activations across EA's different e-commerce platforms. She also works with cross-functional teams to ensure that titles are supported through their life-cycle, from announcement to launch and live service.

'The Success Playbook' and the Art of Taking Ls w/ Chanelle S. Reynolds, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Programs Lead for the Washington Football Team

Chanelle S. Reynolds is a young professional with a passion for the sports and live events industry. She has a passion for paving the way for other women and minorities in sports. She enjoys all things business, success and leadership.
In May of 2014, Chanelle joined the Philadelphia 76ers organization through their NBA Gatorade League Affiliate, the Delaware 87ers, in which she’s had the opportunity to take on several positions. After 4 years of being with the Sixers Organization, she was met with a new challenge to launch and grow the new group sales department for The Washington Football Team. With honor & great excitement, Chanelle packed her bags and moved to the Nation's Capital to be a part of this new project. After 1 year, Chanelle was promoted to be the Director of Group Sales for The Washington Football Team and leads a team of ambitious account executives.
Chanelle has achieved accolades throughout her career such as being featured in Delaware Today Magazine in their 2016 Top Women in Business Issue. She was the youngest of the honorees to receive this recognition. She was also awarded as a 2017 40 under 40 recipient by the Delaware Business Times.
When Chanelle is not climbing the corporate ladder or serving the community, she spends much of her time developing her "side hustles." Alongside her twin sister, Chanelle has a faith-based brand designed to encourage youth and young adults to have a relationship with God and grow stronger in their faith. They do this through their Mobile App, Double Portion (available in Google Play & the App Store).

Purpose Driven Work and Their Connection Within Sports w/ Carrie Bell, TEAM Mentor Program Manager for the Memphis Grizzlies
Carrie C. Bell fulfills many roles to include sister, friend, mentee, mentor, dog mom and one she deems particularly important, self-proclaimed, light beam. As the daughter of a single mother who served in the military and the granddaughter of a community activist, Carrie was raised to be a servant leader and knows first-hand the importance of village. Carrie’s upbringing and her experience as a first generation college graduate, has made her a believer that it truly takes a village to raise a child. Through the ways in which village showed up for her, particularly in her youth, she developed a deep desire to support and pour into the youth who are set to be the next generation of change makers and leaders.
Professionally, she has served in the youth development, community engagement and volunteerism fields for over ten years. Carrie currently serves as the Manager of the TEAM Mentor Program with the Memphis Grizzlies Foundation, utilizing the power of sports and relationship building to positively impact the lives of youth. She has earned her Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Master of Science in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
In addition to her full time duties as leader of the Grizzlies TEAM Mentor Program, Carrie also enjoys serving as a speaker for future leaders of the next generation, with a special interest in connecting with girls and young women, grant writing and consulting. She is passionate about community service and spends a lot of her personal time in service to others. For several years, she has been an active volunteer with organizations such as LITE Memphis and the American Express Leadership Academy Alumni Task Force. Carrie believes in the power of people and is confident if we all lead with light and love, we each can have stake in making this world better for everyone, leaving no part of the village behind.

Being an Athlete and Transitioning into the Corporate Sports Industry w/ Megan Rose, Managing Director, Major Events for the USTA
Megan Rose is the Managing Director of Major Events for the United States Tennis Association. In this role, Megan is responsible for the promotion, operation, and strategic direction of the USTA’s professional tennis assets including the US Open Series, the Davis Cup & Billie Jean King Cup, Pro Circuit, World Team Cup, the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, Pan American Games, Parapan American Games, and Laver Cup. Megan is also responsible for the successful operation of the US Open Wheelchair Championships and the US Open Junior Championships. In addition, Megan also serves as Team Leader for USA Olympic Tennis. In this role, she is responsible for the organization and planning of all team eligibility, activities and logistics for Tokyo 2021, and serves as the USTA’s NGB liaison to the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

Working in College Athletics and Handling Harassment at Work w/ Karin Torchia, Senior AD of Athletics for External Operations/SWA at Rider University
Karin is in her 20th year at Rider University and serves as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Operations and Development and Senior Women's Administrator! Born in Maryland, Karin grew up as an Army brat moving around a lot as a child. She first got her introduction to sports very young when her older brother would make her stand in the outfield and shag baseballs for him and his friends! From then on she was a sports nut playing numerous sports through high school. This led to an undergraduate sports management degree and a graduate degree in sports administration!
In her current role, she is the sport administrator for men's and women's swimming & diving, field hockey, softball and volleyball and acts as an advocate for all of Rider's women's athletics programs. In addition, she is responsible for the promotion and marketing of all of Rider's 20 NCAA Division I varsity sports, handles the department's social media, branding and licensing efforts, coordinates fundraising, advertising and corporate sponsorship programs for the athletics department and plans the annual Rider Athletics Golf Gala, 5K for Women's Athletics, Midnight MAACness and Hall of Fame events. She also directs the department's community relations efforts, serves as a liaison between the athletics department and various on-campus and external committees and is responsible for all ESPN3 and ESPN+ Rider productions, as well as radio and internet-based broadcasts.
