Rexustean Ridiculousness: A D&D Podcast Warped Gecko

Done with their stabilization of the town of Ramshackle and the surrounding region, our group of adventurers forges outwards, ready to continue their crusade! They were approached by a half-elf dressed warmly in a furred cloak and a feathered hat who hailed from a small village two weeks to the North, near the troubled Elven kingdoms of the Silvervales. Named Alros, he begged the group for aid in saving his village, as the livestock that keep them alive in these times of disarray are showing up dead, mutilated in horrific ways. People have been going missing as well, but strangely their bodies have not shown up. 

In addition, While assembling a group to leave, they could not find Talo'Sír. Tryfa, after spending a few hours searching and finding little, decided to scry him. The spell worked, and in the gem atop her staff, Tryfa was shown a vision of Talo'Sír lying alone in a dark, lightless stone room, laden with moss and damp, his only companions the steady and slow drip of water from the ceiling to the floor and a thick metal band which kept him on a short chain embedded into the wall. 

Tensions grow with a potential traitor in their midst and a friend in dire danger, as well as the threat to Alros's village. The world is now open for them to make what they wish out of it, as the campaign continues to grow larger than the scope of things they've seen thus far.

In this episode, our heroes finally slay the last two infected Umberhulks in the ruins, giving the townspeople above the chance to explore them safely and make use of the bountiful machinery and resources. Our heroes shall return triumphantly to the surface, and in the next episode, their true adventure begins.

In this episode, a new character is introduced: Herr Verdreckt, a doctor, of sorts, who caught up with the party in the smeltery and forge district. After some introduction and a few formalities, the group continues on again, looking for what remains of their quarry of infected Umberhulks, when, their quarry finds them first...

In this short little episode, we get a second part of the venture within the Dörvaani ruins. Finishing the one who brought Tryfa's fiance to a dangerously injured state, they began hunting the second one in what may have once been a nearby marketplace. After the group settles the question of should we stay or should we go, Atla finishes the second Umberhulk and they prepare to explore the city to find its purpose, why it lies empty, and if possible, where the missing scouts went.

In this episode, the party, back in real-time now, proceed to continue their exploration of the Dörvaani ruins beneath Ramshackle, stumbling into a battle with a fierce and nightmarish creature: An Umber Hulk infected with the Yellow Eyed Plague! Over the course of this episode, our heroes track it down and begin a fierce fight to bring it down, Tryfa's fiance hanging to life by a thread as she dangles from its clawed hands. 

My players also take a break near the end to threaten me XD. 

Today we do something a little bit different! Since it's roughly the 1 year anniversary of when this game started, this week I decided to let our heroes take a break from the usual strife and toil in order to goof off both in and out of character! We find our heroes in a little tavern that had just been restored in Ramshackle, shooting the stuff about old events, old friends, and experimenting to see what it feels like to be hit by a Guiding Bolt. This little batch of chaos may need a part two...
