One School; Two Worlds - Episode 1

This episode is part of a series made by Ian and Sarah's SGORR group. For this series, we interviewed students from Hathaway Brown, University School, Laurel, and Hawken to provide a platform for them to reflect on their experiences. The purpose of this podcast is not to criticize these schools but to uplift students' voices and weave together the story of each school. In each episode, we will share clips of students discussing one topic, such as: the general diversity of the school; feeling out of place or feeling like a token minority; disciplinary actions and the administration's response to social issues and issues of race at the school; and how comfortable students feel expressing their viewpoints on social issues
This episode will serve as an introduction to the series. Each student will introduce themselves and state what they think the purpose of this podcast should be, as well as who their intended audience is.
