#172: OfficialSaharTV - Fighting for Israel on Omegle and TikTok

This week I had the pleasure of sitting down with Sahar of OfficialSaharTV who has been debating people on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for the last few months and has in my opinion proven to be one of the best debaters on the topic on social media. We delved into Sahar's decision to create content, his experiences debating online and what he thinks will happen after Israel's victory over Hamas.

#171: Barak Swarttz (OtherBarak) - From College Basketball to Israel Advocacy

#171: Barak Swarttz (OtherBarak) - From College Basketball to Israel Advocacy

Barak Swartzz started creating content only 5 months ago and has amassed an impressive following on YouTube of 15,000 followers and counting. Originally from Boston, Barak used to play college Basketball and after a torn ACL and several other sports related injuries, had to put his balling to rest. He became a coach for other athletes and NBA players and continues to do so today. Since his move from Boston to Israel 2 years ago, Barak, has become more focused on spreading the message of Israel's right to sovereignty with peace with the Palestinians and its neighbors. It was an amazing unfiltered but mentally stimulating discussion, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

#170: Yehuda Katz - Hasidic Bodybuilder & Personal Trainer

Have you seen a Jacked Hasidic Jew? I really haven't. Why is it so uncommon to see religious Jews in shape let alone incredible shape? This week I sat down with Yehuda Katz, a 20-year-old Hasidic Jew who began working out at 14 and now has an amazing physique. Yehuda and I discussed the stigma of wearing non-Hasidic clothing, using social media for his personal training business and how it once made things challenging with his parents, but they are now very strong supporters. We discussed not only the stigma of being an ultra Orthodox bodybuilder but also the immense benefit of being strong and confident especially in a time when so many people hate Jews.

Yoni Kletzel AKA Yoneedapretzel on instagram is a comedian and Marketing agency owner based in NY who has gone viral on instagram for showing up at pro palestinian rallies, asking people questions and throwing his comedic twists into the mix. #167: (PART 2) De-bunking Norman Finkelstein on the Lex Fridman Podcast Israel- Palestine Debate

Sam Hyde, a Jewish political researcher and writer joined me for part 2 of our commentary of the Israel-Palestine debate on the Lex Fridman podcast. Part 2 delved much more into the current state of affairs as opposed to the history which created a lot more fire on Lex's podcast and was quite frankly a lot more entertaining for us to comment on. Sam and I shared our thoughts on October 7th, the attempts at peace as well as trying to answer the age old question of whether peace can ever be achieved or not.

#168 - Rabbi Manis Freidman - Jews Need to Speak the Truth About Israel

#168 - Rabbi Manis Freidman - Jews Need to Speak the Truth About Israel

Rabbi Manis Freidman is known as social medias most well-known Rabbi. Rabbi Manis is a world-renowned author, counselor, lecturer, and philosopher who uses ancient wisdom and modern wit to captivate audiences around the world. On this week's episode of Soothing Semantics, the Rabbi and I peeled back some onion layers in regard to the history of the inheritance feud of Israel between Isaac and Ishmael and why the Jews became the rightful inheritors of the land. The rabbi stressed the importance of Jews being direct and honest with the world and not being afraid to say that the Jews are chosen, and the land is theirs. The realties and hypocrisies of war as well as understanding gay rights when attempting to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was all quite interesting and the Rabbi had some interesting points of view to say the least.
