    In our third episode of Tea and EDtalk, Jane talks to Rosa Morgan-Baker from The Skills Builder Partnership. The Skills Builder Partnership received a grant of £90,000 in the 2018/19 Edge Grant Fund for the further development of the Skills Builder approach to Problem Based Learning (PBL), focussing on primary school age children.

    Building on the success of the Skills Builder Universal Framework, the Skills Builder Partnership received £50,000 from the Post Covid-19 Revival fund to develop a national training platform for teachers.

The university was awarded £77,532 in the 2018/19 Edge Grant Fund for their Project Based Learning (PBL) Goes to University project. PBL goes to University delivers not only a suite of tried and tested PBL projects but also CPD for teachers and an introduction to PBL for PCGE trainee teachers.     In our very first episode of Tea and EDtalk, Jane talks to Andy Boer, Principal of the Edge Hotel School, a hotel school that was founded by the Edge Foundation. The Edge Hotel School was awarded £100,000 by the Edge Foundation to attract youngsters into the hospitality industry addressing a growing skills gap.
