    Yes, it is January, 2018, and Tamara and I sat outside on the patio, wearing just light jackets, at THAT Brewery and Pub in Pine.
    Among the new things for 2018 are new hours, we are open seven days a week. Tamara shared a lot of the new events and regulary activities like Wings, Wine, and Whiskey Wednesdays, Poker Night, Pizza night on Thursdays, Paint classes, and starting January 22nd, an open mic music night.
    There's a lot of new items on the menu with many new vegetarian options. On the beer front, the Abbey makes a return, and you can also now get the Russian Imperial Stout.

    For our second THATcast episode I loaded the sound studio (well really it’s a small portable recorder) into the truck and drove down that scenic highway 260 from the Rim to visit THAT Brewery production facility in Cottonwood. 
    Even if you are not into machines and tanks, you can find plenty to enjoy in the front tasting room. That’s where I sat for this conversation with brewers Steve and John (Misty was busy loading and unloading supplies). It might be a bit noisy in the background, but that’s what it’s like inside a brewery.
