Tom brought his guitar over to my house to play some music and also to tell us about the new open mic night 2nd and 4th Mondays at THAT Brewery & Pub in Pine, Arizona

Yes, it is January, 2018, and Tamara and I sat outside on the patio, wearing just light jackets, at THAT Brewery and Pub in Pine.
Among the new things for 2018 are new hours, we are open seven days a week. Tamara shared a lot of the new events and regulary activities like Wings, Wine, and Whiskey Wednesdays, Poker Night, Pizza night on Thursdays, Paint classes, and starting January 22nd, an open mic music night.
There's a lot of new items on the menu with many new vegetarian options. On the beer front, the Abbey makes a return, and you can also now get the Russian Imperial Stout. 

We sit down with Cottonwood brewers John and Misty to hear what a typical (if there is such a thing) day is like brewing beer. Sometimes that happens over night. It's a bit noisy in parts with tank rinsing in the background, but hey, this is a brewery.
They describe some of the new flavors being ged in wine casks (and the podcaster gets to sample the Plum Crazy which is coming soon in bottles). Misty talks of plans for movie nights and other events. This is the brewers life.

For our second THATcast episode I loaded the sound studio (well really it’s a small portable recorder) into the truck and drove down that scenic highway 260 from the Rim to visit THAT Brewery production facility in Cottonwood. 
Even if you are not into machines and tanks, you can find plenty to enjoy in the front tasting room. That’s where I sat for this conversation with brewers Steve and John (Misty was busy loading and unloading supplies). It might be a bit noisy in the background, but that’s what it’s like inside a brewery.
