#87 Learning from your ANXIETY
What do you mean learning from your Anxiety? All I know is that I want it gone. I know, we don't want anything to do with anxiety. We just want it gone. But we can learn so much from our anxiety. And learning from it is one way to help us eliminate it. It also helps us to learn to be with it and not fear it. Journaling while going through your road to recovery is something I always recommend. Journaling helps us to process our thoughts, feelings, emotions, wants, needs and so much more. Here are some Journal Prompts for Anxiety.
What do I feel I need to work on? And how would I like to grow as a person in this healing process?
What am I doing too much of? And what do I need to do more of?
Am I hard on myself? If so, why? What can I do to not be so hard on myself?
What is my anxiety trying to tell me?
Let me know how it goes. Don't forget to follow me on instagram @theanxietydr

#86 Exercise and Anxiety
Join me as I talk about Exercise and Anxiety. Does exercising cause anxiety? Why do I sometimes have a panic attack when working out? These are all questions I often get asked. The short answer is...Exercise does not cause anxiety. Exercise will raise your heartbeat, which is normal. But if you fear anxiety symptoms such as palpitations, it can mimic these symptoms and cause fear in you and that will spark the panic. Exercise is actually extremely beneficial for our overall mental and physical health. Take a listen to learn how you can get back to working out if you've stopped due to anxiety.
