The Baby Bubble Mamamia

The Baby Bubble, hosted by twins Jessie and Clare Stephens (who had their first babies just 6 months apart), dives into the absurdity and hilarity of the first few months of newborn life. From the first post-birth poo, to the myth of schedules, and the absolute mayhem that comes with trying to leave the house.
If you’re looking for advice you’ve come to the wrong place, but if you want someone to crawl down into the chaos with you, we’re already here and the water is great!

Sorry But… Were You Always This Incompetent?
He doesn't feel any guilt about outsourcing. I feel guilt about everything.
We thought we had a pretty good grasp on who we were entering parenthood with... that was, until they had to execute the parenting part. And look, bless their cotton socks for trying, but we have some notes…

"Sleep And Routines And HAHAHAHAHA"
There are two questions every new parent dreads... Are you in a routine yet? How’s the baby sleeping?Bedtimes, routines and the idea of sleeping through the night all feel like wild west concepts while you’re in the baby bubble.
And we might just have to holster our weapons for this unwinnable battle.

Find Your Village & Get The F**k Out Of My House
The village is there for the vibes.
Nothing says “here if you need” like rocking up unannounced, disrupting the routine, dirtying some dishes and then ducking out when the baby starts crying.'
They say it takes a village… but what they forget to tell you is that the village can kind of be annoying.
Look, we’re not being ungrateful. Mostly, we’re just really bored & tired.

Boobs, Bottles And BTW You're Doing Everything Wrong
Feeding is weirdly high stakes…
Whether you’re breastfeeding, formula feeding or dare we say it bottle feeding, everyone’s got an opinion on how to do it better.
The fun thing about giving your baby nutrients is that it’s uniquely cooked for every individual.
And don’t even get us started on breast pumps.

OK, We Need To Debrief About The First Post-Birth Shower
Just because you had a baby, doesn’t mean Barbie didn’t just come out.
You know what’s a totally fun and not at all terrifying experience? Taking your first dump after giving birth.
It can basically only be topped by your first post-birth shower, which looks more like a crime scene than a shampoo commercial.
Today we’re debriefing on the many firsts that come after birthing your bub, including Jessie’s pilgrimage to the Barbie movie.

"Hi. Um, I Don't Know You"
I don't mean to be rude, but who tf are you?Let's be honest, giving birth is like the most intense first date ever. You show up at the designated place nervously excited to meet your date, only for them to show up late and basically whinge the whole time. And then you're obligated to be with them. For the next 18 years. So what were our first reactions to our new babies? And maybe more importantly... what were their first impressions of us?
