Building Back: The Secret of Growing and Thriving Churches
Kyle Clayton kicks off a new series focusing on the book of Haggai.
Churches that thrive have people who love their church.
They invest in the work of their church as a priority.
The lie of worldliness isn’t where they find their worth.
They desire God’s presence deeply.
By This All Will Know
Associate Pastor Dale Moreland steps into the pulpit on Sunday, March 8. Jesus commands us to love one another as He loved us.
Remember John Chapter 13, versus 34-35: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Kyle Clayton wraps up his series on Nehemiah. Nehemiah teaches us to deal with distractions and rumors through prayer. The Lord knows the heart intentions of man. We have to remember, what God starts, he finishes.
A Message from Pastor Dale
Are you in a dry spot? A rut in your faith. Dale Moreland steps into the pulpit to talk about steps you can take to get out of those dry spots. Whether your struggling with fasting, giving, prayer, God has the answers. We just need to turn it over to him.
Finish the Work
To do God's work, it takes vision. Nehemiah faced opposition just like everyone who does God's work. Nehemiah responded by praying. He always turned to prayer just like we should in our everyday lives. Prayer should always be our first response. While we may face many threats in our lives, God is always greater. God will win our battles for us if we let him.
The Leader in You
If we listen to God, he will give us the path to take. Nehemiah knew what needed to be done to rebuild his city, but instead of going to his king first, he prayed to God. God puts challenges before him, but we can't tackle those challenges unless God is close to us.
