Ep. 124 - The Worst Woman on Earth

In this episode, I tell you the story of long-forgotten serial killer Lizzie Halliday. During the late 19th century, she became well-known for murdering several of her husbands, among others. There were even those who claimed she might have been the most famous serial killer of all, Jack the Ripper.

Ep. 123 - The Spanish Lady

In this special episode I tell you the story of the Spanish Flu outbreak of 1918, a pandemic unlike any other in human history. You'll hear what's known and still unknown about this mysterious epidemic, and I try to make sense of it all, and draw parallels with the strange situation we find ourselves living in today.

Ep. 122 - The Bitter Pill

For many of us, it may be difficult to recall a time when every consumable product didn't have a product safety seal on it. But those tamper proof packages all stem from a very real series of unsolved murders in Chicago in 1982. Back then, someone laced several bottles of Extra Strength Tylenol with Potassium Cyanide and distributed them in stores throughout Chicago. As a result, seven people died, and the murderer was never caught.

Ep. 121 - The Shining Girls

Ep. 121 - The Shining Girls

During the early part of the 20th century, radium was being promoted as a miracle cure for what ailed you. But a group of young women working in a New Jersey factory learned the deadly consequences of being exposed to the radioactive element. The story that followed is both tragic and horrifying.

    Ep. 120 - The Hunt

    Ep. 120 - The Hunt

Some stories you come across are so tragic and outrageous, it's difficult to believe they could really happen in modern society. On July 9, 1982, a French-born 14 year old girl living in Germany named Kalinka Bamberski died under mysterious circumstances. This would lead her father Andre to spend the next three decades on a tireless quest to uncover the truth, and to bring the man who raped and murdered his daughter to justice.
