Though an interesting theory I began having my doubts about the theory during my research. Many of the issues with the theory is that only very specific websites were mentioned when discussing the repetition of posts such as Reddit or Twitter, these websites are known for botting. Google has also disputed issues on their end, concerns that the website wasn't actually showing users what they were googling and instead bottlenecking searches to a handful of websites, one simply scrolls past the ads to see different websites and multiple links were found to be duplicates anyway. Regardless of this I encourage people to look into the theory further as it poses very interesting questions about the modern internet as opposed to the early internet years.
