    The Lime Tree Theatre officially opened in October 2012 and is one of Ireland’s flagship theatre and performing arts venues, located on the campus of Mary Immaculate College, Limerick.
    Through its funding from the Arts Council and local authority, it ensures that audiences in Limerick have access to the best of local, national and international performing arts, as well as grassroots community and school performances.

    In this episode, Karl sits down with Alex Henriques and Elaine Fitzpatrick Leahy Committee Members of Limerick Suicide Watch.

    Established in 2016, Limerick Suicide Watch (LSW) is a volunteer organisation whose aim is to prevent suicide in Limerick City. The group patrol the River Shannon and offering support to those in distress or who may be contemplating suicide.

    LSW has grown significantly to 70 volunteers within the past year and they have completed 5,320 hours of patrolling Limerick streets on foot or by bike in 2020. LSW has helped save over 500 people’s lives since 2016 by providing support to those suffering.
