Today though, we’re talking about North Star Rising; an ambitious and wonderful project designed as a creative outlet for Bithell Games during the lockdown. A serialised science fiction audio comedy/drama produced entirely in the era of working from home, with a stellar cast, a sharp script, and a double helping of self-aware genre tropes.

We discuss the challenges of producing a radio drama during a time when nobody can go to a recording studio, and how hard it is to write science fiction in the first place. Then, Bithell gives his take on the next generation of consoles, the PS5 and Xbox Series X – and why everyone, PC gamers included, should be excited.
