The Upper Limit is what is really holding you back Life Alchemy

    • Entrepreneurship

We are often not scared of failure but of success. Of shining brightly and achieving results beyond our wildest dreams.

Why? Well often social conditioning and upbringing will have taught us not to be ‘braggy’ and to even feel guilty for being clever or driven or happy.

We are driven to seek acceptance and to be part of our ‘tribe’ but success and standing out takes us out of this norm and it feels uncomfortable and may even lead to rejection from those we know and love. The solution? Well to clip your own wings to ‘fit in’ and not be different. Without realising it we set ourselves an ‘upper limit’ to what we should earn, or how successful we should be or who we should mix with or what we should do. You only need to look at many celebrities to see that once they become successful, they start to upper limit themselves (perhaps with drugs, poor relationships, self-loathing etc.). The solution to this is to accept your genius and gifts and stop blocking greatness and joy from your life.
