The ladies of The Womansplaining Podcast answer questions sent by male listeners about a variety of women-related topics. Sure they may be a little day drunk, but their ultimate goal is to help men everywhere put one less foot in their collective mouths (oh, and inspire healthy open communication and all that stuff.)

E51: Series Finale!
Well, we’ve finally done it, we’ve answered ALL of the questions and solved every problem in the world. You’re welcome.
Ok, ok, not exactly, but in our series finale, we will be answering our remaining listener questions and then riding off into the sunset… We have had so much fun doing this podcast and learning from each other and from our guests. We have especially loved getting to know and interact with our wonderful listeners all over the world! There won’t be new episodes, but you can always go back and re-listen to and share your favorites with friends to keep the discussion going.
Thanks for joining us on this crazy podcast journey. You’re all deputized ‘Splainers now, so go forth and spread your Womansplaining knowledge!
In the penultimate episode of The Womansplaining Podcast, The ‘Splainers are joined by “J” - a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood. He’s here to help us answer all your questions about women’s health, birth control, and the various services offered by their clinics. Sheryl also gets a lesson about men’s health and what the phrase “shooting blanks” actually means (Hint: Men, your balls won’t actually explode if you get a vasectomy!) We also discuss the misconceptions, stigma, and funding cuts faced by Planned Parenthood and how you can get involved if you’re as passionate about reproductive health as we are! Their services are for everyone and literally help save lives, so please consider donating.

E49: Don't You Know That You're Toxic?
Well, we’ve done our research and are back, along with special guest Collette, to discuss the hard-to-define topic of Toxic Femininity. There are many definitions floating around online which touch on the topics like manipulative fragility, weaponized sexuality, and internalized misogyny. We discuss each of the themes and then share the definition that we like best. Then Collette ends the episode with a rant about the Myth of Virginity.

E48: Let's Talk About Sex
Let’s talk about sex, baybeeee! This week the ‘Splainers are joined by Collete, a licensed clinical social worker and sex-therapist-in-training, who is here to answer all your question about *ahem* the “s word.” First, we ask what exactly is sex therapy? Then we talk about common hangups, intimacy, keeping things spicy in the bedroom (or not), overcoming shame culture, and not self-objectifying during sex. Oh, and we figure out what the lady version of blue balls is called. You don’t want to miss this one!
Do you have question, topic, Mansplaining Moment, rant, new story, or a suggestion for shit we should buy?
E47: Back to the Basic Bitches
What does it mean to be “basic”? Why does liking fall, sweaters, Uggs, and hay rides mean you’re basic? Why should you hide your pumpkin spice latte addiction from your friends and family?
In this week’s episode, The Splainers take a quiz to find out how basic they truly are and discuss ways that you can maximize your fall with all the best and most basic activities. Don’t worry, you can be as basic as you want with us. You do you, girl.
