Episode 184: Veggies, Chocolate, and Holiday Eating with Sammi Haber Brondo

    Dear Listener,

In this month's episode, I'm joined by fellow RD and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Sammi Haber Brondo. You may know her from her popular IG and TikTok account, @veggiesandchocolate, where she shares realistic nutrition tips and easy recipes!

Sammi has her master’s in nutrition and dietetics with a clinical nutrition concentration and when it comes to nutrition she believes two main points: 1) Nutrition should be easy and 2) All foods fit. She runs her own private practice where she meets with clients individually, works with different food brands on recipe development and spokesperson work, and has written a cookbook called The Essential Vegetable Cookbook that came out in Summer 2018. To learn more about Sammi you can check her out on IG @veggiesandchocolate or visit her website www.sammibrondo.com. You can find The Essential Vegetable Cookbook on Amazon or at Barnes & Noble, Target and select Whole Foods Markets.

In this conversation, Sammi and I chat discuss what the All Foods Fit mindset means, how she goes about building recipes, and (of course) since this episode is coming out in December, we also chat through some tips for staying nourished during the holiday season between social gatherings. Speaking of the holidays, I also share my list of holiday eating "do's" and "don'ts" in the intro of this episode along with a few exciting things I have coming in the final days of 2023 and into 2024.

Thanks for listening and happy holidays! ❤️
