Machines teaching humans? James Gupta, co-founder of AI teaching platform Synap (synap.ac/) joins max to discuss his interesting project and explore the impact AI systems may have on human learning.

Max is joined by Mark Bishop; Professor of Cognitive Computing at goldsmiths where he leads the tungsten centre for intelligent data analytics. With an esteemed career in AI Professor Bishop is a former chair of longest running society for the study of Artificial Intelligence known as AISB. He is renowned for his views about the nature of true intelligence and is often described as an AI sceptic.

Max is joined by Dr. Thor Magnusson; lecturer and researcher of music technology at the University of Sussex. Thor uses generative composition and AI techniques in music creation and is co-founder of the live programming project ixi audio (www.ixi-audio.net).

Max is joined by Dr Anders Sandberg. A research fellow at the Oxford Future of Humanity Institute, founder of the Swedish Trasnhumanist Assosiation and Doctor of computational neuroscience; Anders is a fascinating character who advises that we should think seriously about the potential dangers that AI may one day pose our species.
