TM22: A Pokémon Podcast Jesse Klapheke and Ross Smith

You know when you're ripping through the course in MarioKart and then all of a sudden, right before the finish line, you get hit with a blue shell and fall into sixth place? This is essentially what has happened. Enjoy this abridged episode we managed to muster up after disaster struck. We go over where we ended up at the end of our journey through Johto, our overall thoughts on the Only Child run, and since it's the end of the month, we introduce the run for June! Ross brings forward  the Just Your Average Joey run, in which we must pick a specific, insignificant trainer from a Pokémon game and replicate their team, moveset if possible, and since the run will be taking place in Sword and Shield, the trainers look and overall aesthetic. Tune in to pay your respects to the episode that never was, may it always live on in our hearts. Punch a kid. 

What's that boy? Team Rocket has broken into the radio tower in Goldenrod City? That's sure to make for some good audio. The boys recount their journeys through the Johto region in this, the penultimate episode of the Only Child run. They dive deep into the political and economic motivations of Team Rocket, discuss the possible implications of a recent Nintendo leak, and postulate as to what a Hideo Kojima Pokémon might look like. Spoiler, it's fucking nuts. Join in the fun and listen as they start to realize maybe using only Pokémon that don't evolve kind of sucks, and, as always, punch a kid. 

Ross pissed his dumb little pants. The boys are mentally exhausted and boy does it show. In this weeks episode they bring you a hazy second update of the Only Child run, in which you cannot use any Pokémon that evolve. See if you can follow the sporadic changes of pace, including a lawsuit from Drake, Ross's run in with a certain legendary dog, and their inexplicably odd choices of npc trainer intros. Jesse eats an apple directly into the microphone. Be ready for your brain to be challenged and your patience stretched thin, and as always, punch a kid.
