#YANR - Episode 3: The Journey to Making a Living as an Artist | Art, Colonization, Business #YANR

    • Self-Improvement

Say goodbye to the starving artist stereotype, and help me usher in a new era of artists who are equal parts adventurers, expressionists, entrepreneurs and technicians. In this episode I had the opportunity to talk to one of my favourite artists and good friends Rudra Manani as we explored her journey from high school to university to the real world and what she learnt about finding her voice as an artist, making a living and finding her niche as a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on photography and painting. Rudra's more works focus on themes of identity, voyeurism, and appropriation with her more recent focus on the appropriation of Hindusim in the Self Care industry and I can confidently say I have learnt a great deal from her journey and her art.
