    We connect again with vayu, the element of air. As we flow we focus on expansion from the heart centre out through the fingertips. We find a sense of expansiveness and opening in the chest, upper back and shoulders.  Expect to play with Ustrasana (Camel Pose). Observe sensations of lightness and release throughout your practice.

    Let's cultivate a sense of openness and freedom ! Here, we connect with air element, Vayu.  This flow frees our front body to alleviate tension created by slouching, driving, texting.  We also practise Nadi Shodana Pranayama (alternate nostril breathing) to purify the subtle energy channels.  May you leave this practice feeling open-hearted and ready to embrace the rest of your day.

    Fire is used for purification and transformation.  In this flow we build and consciously direct heat toward something we want to purify and transform.  I encourage you to use Ujayii (Victorious) breath in your practice today !  Expect to build heat in your centre and your arms as we flow towards Vasisthasana II (also known as Eka Pada Vasisthasana).
