7 feckin stars from Ireland 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

After man years of enjoyment, enrichment, education, in-direct mental health therapy and laughs, I am finally dropping these guys the 7 star review they so richly deserve.

This is my favourite ongoing podcast in the history of the world (for the best one that is now over, see David O’Doherty’s Isolating podcast from during the pandemic.).

These guys always cheer me up, always make me laugh, AND I’ve learned a lot.

I’m not sure Peter and Adam can compute the importance of this podcast for those of us who might have had a bad experience with jazz or music education, or don’t have frequent access to jazz peers or mentors, or both of the above.

This podcast has definitely made me feel less fearful and more excited about learning and playing.

Peter and Adam remove the sense of scary mystery while reminding us of the reasons for excited awestruck wonder when it comes to music.

Thank you guys so much for sharing your talents, personalities and friendship with us. It makes an enormous difference. Sian in Ireland.

7up x⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Adam appears to be the sensible one holding down the wacky guy Peter...who for some reason reminds me of Brian Griffin. The whole thing is hilarious. I try save up a few shows to listen on my way to work which breaks up the commute and always delivers me with a smile on my face. The fact that P&A are discussing Jazz topics, theory, tips etc. is an added bonus as it covers a whole spectrum of interesting questions from the speak pipe and selected topics from P&A themselves. This podcast is funny, entertaining and educational and I look forward to listening to the guys at every opportunity. Well done
P.S. thanks for the shout out guys, by the way the name is spelled “Bassmannken”
Thanks

Entertaining and insightful

I could listen to Peter Martin talk about jazz all day. As a jazz musician myself this is exactly the stuff I like listening too.
