Black Wednesday at WWE, An Explanation The Guy Blog Podcast: A Podcast for Wrestling and MMA Fans

WWE decides to start laying off wrestlers and unlike past years, the list of names is long and seems to not have ended yet. I go over why despite having an estimated $500M cash fund that could cover their current losses, why the WWE had to do this from a business standpoint. Mainly because they are a public company and not a private one. This makes a big difference in how decisions are made and affect how they react as a company in times like these.
