David Gillespie who left high school and joined the British Army at the age of 16, received his PhD in Electronic & Electrical Engineering a couple of weeks ago. In this episode David talks about his journey from the army to academia and to an industry PhD, his persistence and stubbornness that enabled him to find his own path, and the importance of celebrating every win - the little ones and the big ones.
