A warm welcome to this week’s teaching at Mount Carmel on five gifts that help us see. Nathan Hoff is Abba’s beloved son, chosen and loved by Jesus, filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit. My mission is to live in this identity in unity with Joy, fathering my four kids (Christian, Annika, Samuel, Peter), and pastoring Trinity San Pedro, CA. I have served at Trinity since 2005, as well as intentionally committing to a few partnerships including writing a monthly column for San Pedro Today, teaching annually at Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute in Camrose, AB, and mission partnership with the Northern Diocese (Moshi) of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania as well as a board member of Courage Worldwide whose mission is to rescue trafficking victims, provide them a home and opportunities, and call them family.
