It's the last episode of our April Fools theme and we're ending it with a bestie bang! We're doing Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, starring Mira Sorvino as Romy and Lisa Kudrow as Michele, two ditzy friends who decide to fabricate an 'impressive' life in order to dazzle their classmates at the 10 year reunion. In this episode: we hypothesize what our Shark Tank pitch would be for Lady Fair-Quick Burning Cigarettes, Corinne explains how partitions are a priority for privacy...and nookie, and we get Romy and Michele's origin story, which include their ambitions to be sex workers (and there's a prequel to prove it). We enjoyed reliving some of our high school cafeteria memories and we'd love it if you'd join us at our table so we can hang and gossip about Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.

This week we're covering the 'April Fools' movie Legally Blonde, AND we are waxing poetic about the late great podcast Let's Go To Court. Both showcase court cases but only Legally Blonde stars Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods, a heartbroken college student who in an attempt to win her boyfriend back, applies to Harvard and gets accepted. In this episode we: debate on whether being named Chutney is motive enough to murder your parents, marvel at how Elle is the 'pinnacle of diversity' at Harvard, and discuss our signature styles which consist of beige wallflower camouflage, orange swim goggles and Beiber hair. We are heading to court in more ways than one this week and we hope you join us as we drink from our Owalla's, say 'podcast adjourned' to our beloved LGTC and find out what it's like to be Legally Blonde. 

We have the quintessential April Fools pick this week with our movie Fools Rush In. It stars Matthew Perry as Alex, a real estate developer who gets sent to Las Vegas where he meets Isabel played by Salma Hayek. After a one night stand, 'whoopsie' she gets pregnant and the pair get married (much to everyone's dismay). In this episode: we agree that the only thing that's OK to buy out of someone's car trunk is tamales, contemplate starting a new podcast to discuss all of Corinne's bad dates, and come up with too many accidental sexual innuendos (like play cornhole with Chuy and moisten up my desert). We were not rushing in this episode and you'd be a fool (just kidding we love you) to miss Fools Rush In.

Our new theme this month is April Fools, or movies that showcase people that don't make the best decisions. The first flick we are covering is Quiz Lady, which stars Awkwafina as Anne, an introverted CPA who loves the game show 'Can't Stop The Quiz' and is content to watch it every night at home until her dog gets kidnapped by a loan shark. Her sister Jenny, played by Sandra Oh, gets the bright idea that she can win her dog back by going on her beloved game show and chaos ensues. In this episode we: wonder if you'd get a deal for donating your lady eggs in bulk, make up new words (as we are wont to do) like Quiz-tator and Nursery Homes, and wax poetic about game shows of the past-polyester suits, bad hair & sexual innuendos that wouldn't fly today,.  This episode has 'all big bucks and no whammies' so we hope you 'come on down' and meet the Quiz Lady with us.

We are on the last March Madness episode and we're a little late, but it's worth the wait because we are joined by the lovely ladies from the Histories & Mysteries Uncovered Podcast. We are joining forces to cover I, Tonya starring Margot Robbie as Tonya Harding the infamous figure skater who was blamed for the assault against fellow Olympic hopeful Nancy Kerrigan. But this movie shines all kinds of light on the abuse Tonya faced from her mother Lavona, played by Allison Janney and her ex husband Jeff, played by Sebastian Stan and (arguably) from the public and media. In this episode: our guest Jess asks 'who wrote this?' After she's forced to say Daddy Harding, our guest Ash describes the person in this movie that she would let lick her face, Corinne suggests Tonya could have rifled through the dumpsters at Hooters for potential ice skating outfits and Tamara gets ice skating judgemental. We thoroughly enjoyed having the Histories and Mysteries Uncovered Ladies on this week's show and we hope that you lace up and skate by to experience I, Tonya with us.

For this March Madness episode we have an exciting true crime rom-com with a surprise jailbreak ending. We are doing I Love You Phillip Morris, which stars Jim Carrey as Steven, a con-man who realizes, late in life, that he's gay and falls in love with Phillip Morris, played by Ewan McGregor. But it's a prison romance and once they're in separate penitentiaries can their love last? In this episode we discuss: how Tam will only sleep on beds that are out and proud (no hide-a-beds for her), how Corinne can overcome many obstacles while podcasting (except forgetting to watch the movie), and how much enthusiastic prayer it would take before Jesus says 'We're good!' The twists and turns in this movie have blown our minds, and we hope you join us for this 'master level blow job' movie that is I Love You Phillip Morris.
