Anxiety seems to be something so many of us experience, often. I was once told that anxiety is just fear in four syllables. For me, anxiety is also a physical thing—the feeling in my stomach of unease, the tightness in my chest. It can even manifest as a headache, or just make it difficult for me to function in my professional or personal life. Today’s meditation will help us bring our attention right to that bodily anxiety, and get us to a place of ease with it. Our bodies and our minds have the power to heal themselves. We don’t want to achieve a kind of numbness, or distraction, we want to focus on the anxiety and move through it.
