Summer Reflection: On Disagreeing with People & other things

How do we disagree with people? My instinct is to be defensive and to convince the other person why they should see things my way. But what if I entered arguments/disagreements with empathy, especially when it comes to socio-cultural and political topics? People are people before they’re our “enemies.”
