The Enneagram & The Five Elements We Turned Out Fine

    • Spirituality

In this episode, the sisters discuss the Enneagram and the Five Elements, two different personality type/belief systems that have a lot in common. Enneagram is Greek for “nine-pointed figure” and the Five Elements comes from ancient Chinese culture.

Both systems have helped us learn more about ourselves and the people in our lives, but they have also given us deep emotional language to talk about self discovery and spiritual growth.

We hope you enjoy this episode and we hope that you check out some of the resources that have been most helpful to us.

Enneagram Resources:

These are the resources that Naomi has relied on to learn more about the enneagram and my type. I highly recommend checking out The Enneagram Institute website as it provides a great history to the origin of the enneagram and how we have came to learn about it. The Wisdom of the Enneagram is practically a textbook. If you are interested in digging into the nitty gritty details of your type, this book is for you. The Road Back to You on the other hand is a much lighter read that provides a great scope of the enneagram complete with plenty of anecdotes. If you want to do deeper into contemplative practice and engaging with your enneagram type then The Sacred Enneagram is the choice for you.
