How did Nepal avoid British colonization?

Nepal never became a part of the British Empire and here's the story on how Nepal managed to stay that way.

Author Amish Raj Mulmi's article "Why did the British not colonize Nepal" was one of the main sources of information for this podcast.

    An Unsolved Murder Mystery

    An Unsolved Murder Mystery

In B.S. 2038, a gruesome murder of three young girls in Pokhara shook the nation of Nepal. This is a story about what led to the incident and what followed thereafter. Details of the incident were collected from various reporting of the incident in numerous media, and also from a book by Kishor Shrestha called "दरबार काण्डपछि दबाइएको अर्को हत्याकाण्ड" which I can't recommend enough.
