Building Churches, Inspiring Biblical Literacy, and Viewing Today's Climate Through Jesus: Interview with Pastor Greg Surratt of Seacoast Church

Marc sits down for an interview with Pastor Greg Surratt, Founding Pastor of Seacoast Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Paster Greg is also President and Co-Founder of the Association of Related Churches (ARC), which helps launch and grow church communities. Pastor Greg talks about the foundations and models he and his staff use to help congregations grow in their faith and biblical literacy. Together, they discuss the trips to the Lands of the Bible that Seacoast has taken with Marc and Biblical Expeditions. Their conversation gets even deeper as they discuss the current climate in America, and how to read and understand the Bible in context.

    The Fall of Masada

    The Fall of Masada

I’m often asked what is the relevance for Christians to visit Masada (the palace-fortress of Herod the Great and location of a dramatic Jewish stand against the Romans). On this episode, we explore the story of Masada and how it sheds light upon the spiritual worldview of the New Testament helping us to understand it.

    Cases of Mistaken Identity

    Cases of Mistaken Identity

Traveling to the lands of the Bible should positively impact how we read the Bible. Too often that is not the case because of the misinformed traditions and misinformation communicated by local guides. Join us as we explore three sites commonly shown to Christian pilgrims, yet they are cases of mistaken identity.
