Rafa Pineda steady presence in techno’s Montreal scene over last years has helped establish him as a remarkable Dj on underground dance floors between Mexico and Canada.

Cofounder of 8day collective, Rafa has been playing alongside numerous international artists in the past years. Very engaged in the local scene, playing frequently in venues as Le Salon Daome, Newspeak, La SAT, Stereo Night Club, and festivals such as Eclipse Canada, Piknic Électronik, Radiance Mexico, Totem, Timeless & Earthdance to name a few.

Born in Mexico and now established in Montreal, Rafa is expanding his profile with his new live project, Paradigme, a project in collaboration with his good friend Maudite Machine.

"It was an infatuation with electronic music from a young age that sparked the beginning of Nick Berry’s DJ career in the Sydney scene back in 2014. Since then, Berry has made a name for himself through his acute deviation from what is expected, playing uniquely melodic music punctuated by an eclectic mix of deep house and techno - influenced by the early years of dance music. Fast forward to present day and Berry has shared lineups with Âme, DJ Koze, Jimi Jules, Trikk, The Drifter, Oliver Koletzki, Andhim, Super Flu, Gerd Janson, David Mayer and Panthera Krause to name a few. During the stagnant year of 2020, he maintained his divergence from the conventional when he founded Anomaly alongside Harry Hooper and Milly Lees. The brand is a cultivation of deep electronic music paired with finely curated graphic design to help listeners navigate through the beautiful obscurities of electronic melodies. in 3 short years, Anomaly has hosted takeover parties at some of the best venues around the world, including Sisyphos in Berlin, Electric Bar in Melbourne and a Secret Warehouse Party in Sydney. The brand has released a multitude of radio shows from a selection of fiercely talented international artists; Musumeci, Argia, Santiago Garcia, Andhim, Reznik, Invōker, Matthias Meyer, David Mayer, Armonica, Murat Uncuoglu, Alican, Aaaron, Stereo MC's, Super Flu and others.
