Welcome to our brand new podcast, Amaro Voice. We are excited to start off with an interview featuring Romani Language expert Anastasiia aka Pro.Romani.
With a passion for protecting and preserving the Romani language, especially as it is being used less by newer generations, Anastasiia aims to debunk stereotypes and educate people about the language and the misconceptions surrounding Romani culture. Despite facing ongoing racism, she created a Romani workbook during the pandemic to make educational materials more accessible to all. She utilizes platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok to engage and educate the younger generation. By highlighting the Romani language's Sanskrit roots and leveraging the power of the internet and social media, she is able to spread awareness and appreciation for Romani culture globally.
