    Having a website should not be based on mere herd mentality. There are some definitive factors to consider.

    I am employed with a web design agency for 8 years and here is my take on why (or whether) you should consider a website for your business.

    Q1. Does it add value to your business?

    Q2. Are you planning to sell products on your website?

    Q3. Does your target audience visit websites?

    Q4. What is your marketing budget?

    Q5. Are you running ads?

    Q6. How often are you going to update the content?

    Q7. Does your industry require a website?

    Q8. What's the nature of your product/service?

    Q9. Do you need a focal point?

    Q10. Communication & Marketing?

    So there it is, I hope this podcast helped you to answer for yourself if a website is what your business needs right now. While the pandemic may certainly have boosted the web development industry as more businesses seek online presence, but don't jump into this bandwagon unless you see a clear scope & growth for your business.

    Launching a campaign? Starting a business? Creating a product? This might be useful for you. Now before you create your product or messaging or brand, give some time to get to know your audience. What is their age? What gender ratio do they have? Where do they live? What language do they speak? What interests them? Who are the competitors? Who are the stakeholders? How do they relate to your target audiences? Where do the audiences actively gather? What influences their purchase decision?

    Even if you can answer a handful of those questions, you will be able to put together a decent message on the right platform with the right plan for action. Listen up to improve your marketing funnel.
