They were two of the hundreds of volunteers who got together every weekend in an attempt to clear the beach of all the plastic and garbage and bonded over kachda (waste) on a beach clean-up drive in Versova, Mumbai. They fell in love and decided to step into their holy union on green footing, they opted for eco-friendly no waste wedding. But it was while they were planning their own wedding that they realised some of the hurdles that could serve as a deterrent for other couples who wanted to go green on their big day.
